Bike Stand Company sells bike storage, repair gear and cycling accessories online across South Africa. The range covers bike wall storage (multi-bike wall racks in four and six bike packs, and single-bike wall mounts with a lift-in cradle and fold-away arm), bike floor stands (vertical racks that stand a bike on its rear wheel for narrow spaces, and floor parking stands that need nothing fixed to a wall), bike repair gear (folding work stands, a bench mount for a fixed workshop, a multi tool and a repair tool kit), outdoor protection (a two-bike tent and a waterproof cover) and accessories (front and rear lights, a cable lock, panniers and saddle bags, and a universal phone mount). It is an online only shop with no showroom and no installation service. Choosing between them: a wall rack gives the most floor space back and suits a garage where several bikes live together, while a floor stand puts nothing in the wall and suits a rented flat or a wall that should not be drilled. Wall fixings are chosen for the wall rather than supplied, because masonry takes an ordinary plug and screw while plasterboard needs the fixing to reach a stud or a hollow-wall anchor rated well above the bike weight.
